    Good Afternoon,

I’m staying at the Hard Rock Hotel in mid May for the first time and had some questions.

I scanned prior posts for answers but couldn’t find any so here goes:

    1. I don’t mind paying but does HRH offer early check-in and late check-out?
    2. I’m a fan of the pool but not Rehab. On Saturdays and Sundays, does HRH have any pool areas open that’s only for HRH guest and we don’t have to pay $50? Or is the entire pool area consumed by Rehab?
    3. I checked the HR site map and the Paradise Tower is on the other side of the property from the main part of the casino/hotel. Is there a parking area close to the Paradise Tower or is there only one parking garage?
    4. I reserved a Paradise room with 2 beds for 4 nights. Do you think paying $200 more (total) for a HR Suite with 2 beds is a better deal ($50 more per night)?

    Thanks,
    Charlie

I stay at the Hard Rock 40-50 nights a year (monthly), so let's see if I can field your questions:

    1. My level of their BackStage Pass program allows for no hassle and free early check-in and check-out, so I'm unsure of the regular program. "Official" check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out at 11 a.m. I've read plenty of reviews that where the guest was granted until noon for check-out at no cost. The place is pretty laid back and I'm kinda thinkin' a lot may have to do with when the request is being made. Hotels run a fine line between getting guests in and getting them out and preparing rooms for the next folks. I've checked-in plenty of times at 10-11 a.m. after slow nights and the room is available, conversely after a busy weekend like EDC, where the rooms have all been full and are just thrashed, I've had to wait till 4 or so.

Call them and ask and then ask again of the reservation agent when you're on site.

    2. The Rehab program is in the two-(2) pools closest to the main casino tower and the Paradise tower. The Nirvana pool (closet to the HRH Tower) and the Breath Pool and lounge are unaffected by ReHab, though make no mistake... you know it's goin' on over there!

    3. There's a large parking garage right next to the Paradise Tower, just as there a large one right next to the HRH Tower. Though I stay almost exclusively in the HRH Tower, I sometimes stay in the Pool Villas at the bottom of the Paradise Tower. When I do, after I check-in, I always take my car and park it in the Paradise garage... it's soooooo much closer. The Hard Rock got the county to agree to install a stoplight right outside of it, so it's easy now to go either way north or south on Paradise. Ask for a room on the highest floor available for either tower. If you're on the pool side, it doesn't matter much, but if your room is on the other (city view) side, you wanna be up above the parking garages... I'm guessing 7th floor or so.

    4. The HRH Tower and the Paradise Tower were both built and opened about the same time. The Paradise Tower rooms are rather darkly decorated, but plenty nice by Vegas standards. The HRH Tower rooms are lighter, larger and have separate sitting and bed areas. Is it worth a $50/night upgrade? I think it is, if nothing else because of the long walk to Paradise Tower. It's just a long haul from everywhere on the property. I like being close to stuff and for the most part the HRH Tower is a little more exclusive and well appointed. But it really depends on your bankroll, many would much rather put that $50/night into food, fun or whatever. The Paradise Tower is very nice, it's just a haul from the casino. Plus, is access to the Nirvana Pool (non-ReHab) is an issue. The HRH elevator at floor 2, takes you directly to that pool.

Plus... HRH guests check-in at the HRH Tower... the Casino and Paradise Tower guests check-in at the main reservation area in the front of the hotel. There's value there, trust me as the front area can be a zoo at times. HRH valet guys are the best and you enter steps away from check-in and the elevator is steps away from there.

    Hope that helps ya...

If you are there on a ReHab Sunday and wanna enjoy many of the "sights" without the hassle... pull up a seat at the small bar across from Pink Taco restaurant. The hallway that goes from the casino area down to the entrance/exit of ReHab is right there and the girls parade-by going in... and usually stumble-by on the way out. Some of the swim-suits and ladies in them are unbelievably stunning!

Excellent advice, smartone and many thanks!

I will call them and see if I can check in around 10-11am and check out around Noon on the Monday when I leave...

Think I'll probably stay in the Paradise Tower as I have friends who will be there also and don't want to switch things up on them as it was my idea to stay there in the first place... But I'll definitely ask for a high floor if I don't get a pool view!

    Thanks again!

I really think you'll be glad you did...

I actually, will be in a Paradise Tower corner room for a few days during the start of March Madness. I waited too long to book my March dates and the HRH Tower is completely sold out. So I'll get my walking' in!

I hope you have a blast. The property seems to be drawing much larger crowds of late, but it doesn't come to life there till 10 p.m. or so.

Sorry you couldn't get a HRH Tower Suite but hope you have a blast at MM! I'm looking forward to the HRH Suite and all the benefits. I reserved a city view suite so I'm going to see if I can get a pool view when I check in...

That's funny you mention the property not coming to life until 10pm or so as my buddies told me to make our tee times later in the afternoon so they can party more at night :drunk:

Thanks! That's crazy and I'm glad I switched out of the Paradise Tower to the HRH Suite... I appreciate the heads up as a few of my friends are still booked in that tower...
