With all the construction in both hotels right now, I'm confused with how you get from one to the other. Enlighten me please? And how long do you think it'd take?

    thanks in advance.

You can still walk out front of the property plus they have to give people a way to get in to Monte Carlo from out on The Strip.

To get to NYNY from the Monte Carlo tram stop there are two ways you can go:

    1) Through Monte Carlo.
Exit the tram and go right down the Street of Dreams. This will take you to the Brew Pub, food court and where the front desk is. You can then work your way to The Strip by going through the casino.

    2) Walk down the driveway.
The much shorter way is to exit the tram and go left. Down the escalator and you'll be in a little court where you can either go straight and end up in the Aria casino or head right and go out to the Aria driveway. Go right and walk down the driveway towards Las Vegas Boulevard where you will end up next to the CVS store which is right out front of Monte Carlo. Just walk past the construction to NYNY.

thank you! ack, how convoluted. You think you'd be able to exit onto Monte Carlo rd and walk right across the street. Oh well!!

You probably could walk out of Monte Carlo that way but I don't think there's anyway to get into NYNY on that side. May as well walk out to the strip.

It is a bit of a way to work through if you go through Monte Carlo, but just going down to The Strip from the tram station is the shorter route.

Inside Monte Carlo there is an exit at the back by the poker room that will exit towards Rue de Monte Carlo however thats where the construction is and even if the construction wasn't there you'd end up at the NYNY employee parking lot which is fenced off. You could probably work your way around the back of NYNY but just going out front (of Monte Carlo or from the tram going down to The Strip) would still be a lot shorter.

That was how I used to get there before the construction started. :rolleyes2:
Just exit out by Diablo's, hang a right, and walk along the construction barriers to NYNY. It may not be the shortest route, but walking indoors on that super padded carpet is much easier on the feet IMO!
