    Hi VMB,

I was wondering since I am making the move to become a resident of LV is there anything I should know about The Canyon Gate area of LV?
Is it usually safe and are the local amenities in the area pretty nice? Any info from locals would be appreciated.
    Thanks

Do you mean Canyon Gate? If not, what part of town is Cannon Gate? I'm unfamiliar with the name. If it does happen to be Canyon Gate. I can't speak on the community, but the neighborhood is nice. Lots of conveniences. Traffic is probably the biggest concern.

Canyon Gate = the Lakes = edge of Summerlin ... not a resident but a highly frequent visitor to that area for years and visually and aesthetically I'd say it's OK. (And a damn nice course there for a Ted Robinson design.)

Oh darn ... Please forgive my incorrect spelling ... CANYON GATE is in fact what I am asking about. Sorry for the typo.

If typos were a hanging offense around here the last person standing would have to commit suicide.

I agree... sandwiched in between Charleston and Sahara and west of Jones is a good place to be. About as "safe" as anywhere normal in Las Vegas.
