How often do you go to your local casino?

Since our dollar is terrible and future Vegas trips are on hold, I have been going to my local casino a lot more in the last 4 months. My job allows me a lot of free time so I find myself going sometimes 4-5 days a week. Some days I don't bet a lot and other days quite a bit. Sometimes I just like to bet small playing blackjack or roulette just for the entertainment. Some days I play slots to try to hit a jackpot. I'm sure I will slow down a little bit at some point but I've done alright so far to keep me going back. I'm wondering how often others go to their local casino?

I used to run over to Biloxi a few times a year. However, 6:5 BJ is so prevalent there now that the trip isn't worth it. I'd rather save my $$$$ for an extra trip to Vegas each year.

We go almost weekly, sometimes twice and only on weekends. We usually spend the night because I can get a good rate and it's not worth driving home because of deer and/or other animals...especially skunks.....phew!!!

Never! Okay, not never, but very VERY rarely.

I never go to the one close to my house (10 min) away because there's nothing special about it. We went once when it was a tent in a dirt parking lot because it seemed so completely odd. After they built it up and put in the hotel, I went to an event there, but didn't do anything but walk through the casino to get to the meeting rooms.

In and around Seattle we have two casinos that I will occasionally visit, maybe once every two or three years - Tulalip and Snoqualmie Casinos. Usually we just eat dinner there as we are passing through, but almost never gamble. I think I dropped $20 in a VP machine last time at Tulalip while we were waiting for a table at a restaurant.

Crappy pay tables and overpriced drinks? No thanks. :)

About once a month, though sometimes not at all or sometimes twice a month. Depends on how much free time and bankroll I have. Definitely don't play as big as I do in Vegas, and I don't have quite as much fun. Probably would go more often if they could have real Video Poker, but that's not legal here. Or if the comps were better!

Plus the VP are just slots in Washington! I would kill for some real VP here! (And a comped drink!) Used to go to Tulalip as they gave better comps (plus the outlet mall right next door), but got stuck in traffic too many times so now I go to Snoqualmie, which is a bit closer and traffic is better on the weekends barring any closures or accidents.

Don't go to the closest one since their machine payback and selection Blows. I will go to a decent na or hard rock once every month and a half or so. To get me through between Vegas trips. Machine selection and pay back is no where comparable to Vegas machines.

Hi Sonya - we went to Tulalip with our traveling friends one evening following an Alaskan cruise and really liked that casino - though we are slot players - found it enjoyable with fun slots and walked out with a few extra bucks in our pocket. Would try it again if we get back to Seattle.

To OP - our closest 'local' is about 5 hours away - we go once or twice a year. However, wherever we travel, if there is a local, we give it a try. We travel frequently with another couple, and my friend's goal is to hit at least one casino in every single state that has gambling, so far it's 13 states and counting!

Our closest 'local' casino is 3+ hours away so we make it maybe once, maybe twice a year, usually as a quick stop-in on our way to somewhere else.

Once a week or so. It's about a 45 min drive away from me so depends on the kind of offers I get that day/week. I go to the further casino since that is a CET casino and I earn tier points and rewards credits I can use for Vegas.

My local casino is a 5 minute drive from my house, but I only go maybe a few times a year. When I moved here from Texas I thought it was a BFD that there was a casino so close, but it's just not the same when you can go whenever you want.
