Usually I just pitch the daily lot in the garbage. Starting tomorrow, I am going to keep everything I get for December and see just how many I receive. It will be less than it used to be since we have moved much of our play to CET who seems to have a more coordinated mailing campaign as opposed to MGM's every casino for themselves method.

My guess for myself is 128

How many do you think you will get in December (a typically slow month)?

Ill take the under on that one but I have no idea how many casinos you play at. 128? Really? That is a lot of mailers, more than 4 a day!

I have seen a pickup in casino offers the past month and they are getting better. I usually don't go during the winter months (save that for Reno snowboard trips) but can't pass on Cosmo giving me free nights! See you out there

Mail? I receive a big fat nothing by mail but I've wondered that maybe just maybe it's because I live in Canada. Email is a whole different thing. I should write down what I get via email but it's gotta be close to 200 a month. 99% of the emails are from CET.

Strange thing is that I "requested" notifications by snail mail.

While I still get to Vegas twice a year, since my retirement I've had to put my gambling on a leash, only taking half or less than half of what I used to.

As you might expect my monthly offers reflect that. When I was working and gambling at a fair clip, I would guess my monthly offers to be around 20-30. Since that time, probably only 8-10 per month. I also assume some of those mailers I used to get, now come via email from the casinos I gave my email address to, so that skews the totals.

That said, 128 monthly mailers seems like a huge amount, you degenerate gambler, you.:evillaugh

Funny, I just threw out all my November mailers yesterday. Too many to count, but I realized the November stack was about three inches thick.

Probably around 50 or so. Almost all from AC. I don't get many from Vegas, maybe one or two a week, I mostly get emails for Vegas offers. But AC is mostly snail mail and a lot of them have physical vouchers you need to bring for things like freeplay or dining credit.

Enough to be really really really embarrassing whenever someone sees me getting my mail!

Less than a dozen but I ask to be removed from the mailing list if I have no intention of going back.

Our gambling is limited to Vegas and mostly downtown with a rare trip to the Strip. So we get mailers from MSS, 4Q & GG, Sam's, Total Rewards and Suncoast.
With the exception of MSS, most are 2-3 nights free and some free play.

Ditto! But most do come from my locals. Grand Casino Hinckley alone I probably get 4-5 a week. As I've said before, my mail person must think we are freaks, because me and my BF both get quite a bit.

Seems as though most days it is 5+. So, my guess is based on 24 mail days x4 plus a few :) We shall see.

Mine come from Iowa Casino's, CA Indian Casino's, Reno casinos, CET, V/P, Aria, NYNY, Bellagio, and a few other scattered ones.

I would guess 20+ a week. Mostly regional stuff with maybe a half dozen a month from Vegas.

One night at Horseshoe Indiana and they send me a half dozen a week. Do not see myself going back. Wonder how long before they figure that out.

Dozens easily, but now you've inspired me to save them all month to get an accurate count.

I rarely get any mailers from Vegas anymore, but I have had to slow down my visits there (once a year now vs. 3 to 4). The 2 Indiana boats I frequent both send out a monthly mailer and the one where I spend most of my time (and money) sends sporadic additional ones (comped show tickets, drawings, etc.). Used to get some from a third one, but I quit going to it 3 or 4 years ago, so they stopped.

Any casino that has a remote chance of me visiting goes into a folder.

Those that I would not visit at all goes into trash. Sometime early in each month I go through them and toss the expired ones from the month before.

I would guess that the companies papering my mail the worst are Venetian and any CET property outside Vegas. Those places send me something almost every day.

MGM, I do not get as much, but the mailers I do get (at least the Vegas ones) are often times gigantic. For NYE, Aria sent me a freakin book. And the Bellagio NYE mailer was so big (about the size of a 33 record), it wouldn't fit in my mailbox and the postman left it at the door :faint:

I think a lot also depends on what kind of gambler you are. I hardly receive mailers anymore, mostly getting the standard emails from MGM (Mlife) and boyd, wynn and other places like el cortez (guess I didn't give CET my email). These offers aren't that great, no freebies, just discounted rates or slot tourneys.

I don't gamble elsewhere so no non vegas offers. I did give my info to some casinos in Nice (france) when I was there in June but so far no offers, again probably because I didn't play much.

I hardly play at the orleans but boyd last week sent me one of those 2 for 1 offers (or was it stay for free on certain days, I forget). On the other hand my brother and brother in law get boyd mailers regularly. My brother also gets Rio offers since he stays and plays there often.

Not sure if that is a good thing (no mailers) or just an indication that I don't gamble enough to warrant any special offers.
