does anyone know how The D (From downtown) rewards program works?
The Website does not really give much (almost nothing) for details.

Is there different tier levels or just 1 card?
How do they award Cashback, freeplay, food or really any comp. Do you earn points and redeem them? if so how much play = 1 point.

In February I am staying for 2 nights there but I like to play where I feel my gambling returns something. I can really gamble at any of the hotels downtown while sleeping there.
IT is not that I am playing for comps but would rather get something rather then nothing and prefer to be somewhat educated so that I don't miss out on something because I gambled $1 short of something.

Thanks for any info you can provide

Play earns you comp dollars and real dollars. They are two separate accounts.

The comp dollar accounts are usable at almost any venue at the D. You can use comp points for rooms and dining. I have used Comp points at Andiamo's and at the gift store. I do not know if you can use comp points at American Coney Island Hot Dogs

The real money account can be redeemed for cash. Just go to the D desk and ask how much is in your cash account. I cashed out $250 last trip, although that was accumulated over 2 years of play. There may be more than one level, but the levels don't make a difference with your card. I qualified for a Black Card but never actually had one.

I don't know how many dollars per point, but the people at the D desk always have the answer.

I know that this doesn't help on this trip, but once you get on the list, IMHO the comps are very competitive with any downtown property. The D was my primary property in 2013-2014, and at the peak I was getting:

    4 free nights a month
    $150 a month in food
$200 a month in Free Play

Lake Tahoe/Reno for Thanksgiving, showing these 2 properties some love
    Las Vegas - $2900 Free Play, $159 R/T, couldn't pass it up.

    Nice, thanks for the answers.

Do you know how long before "Comp or Real" dollars expire?
do I need to play atleast every 6 months or is it once a year or something different?
