For the last couple of days I've been reading on this forum trying to understand how the TR system is working as far as offers for different people and people who play different games (i.e. slots/tables).

So my question is how is this "ADT" calculated and when is it calculated?

I play 85% craps, 10% slots, 5% other (video poker and other table games). I believe that I joined the TR early last year. At first I was not playing at a very high level $ per bet, but over the past 6 months or so I've been playing at a much higher $ per bet. So when they figure out my ADT does it average out over my entire time being a member or during a certain time period?

    Example -

    1. I played at the Atlantis in Reno for about 1.5hrs waiting on a dinner reservation and walked away with about $3k. This is the only time I've played at the Atlantis and they have been non-stop sending me offers with free hotel stay, a good amount of FP, and gifts/events.

    2. I've played a lot at Harrahs and Harveys in Tahoe and like I said over the last 6 months I've played at a much higher $ per and the offers are contestant but not fantastic. I.e. I get offers for basically everyday of the week including free hotel, gifts ($200 visa , $90 nordstrom, $90 Bed Bath and Beyond GC's, purses, watches, etc.), FP of $200 twice a month, and $100 credits.

I'm not saying that my offers for CET have been horrible, but it's odd that I get almost the same offers from the Atlantis and I've only been there once. In addition for CET as a whole why don't they give the similar offers for the vegas area as I get for Tahoe, because the Vegas offers are like 1/4 of what my Tahoe offers are.

    Thanks for the help here.

Lastly. What if I go up to Tahoe just to pick up the gift and dont spend any money and don't spend the night, does that hurt me? I haven't done this yet, but I'm planning on doing it this weekend.

    every game has a HA.

    your theo for slots is

amount bet X number of spins X hold %

the hold % is known by the casino for each game.

    for table games

amount bet X hours played X bets per hour X HA

the bets per hour is a fixed value per game as is HA.

    ADT is average daily theo

Thanks for the Calculations Shifter. That helps some.

Do you know how often they figure this out or reset it? Like I said a year and a half ago I was playing alot lower but for the last 6 months I've been playing alot higher. If they count in the time/$ per bet both int he lower times and the higher times It would make it look like I gamble at a lower level then I actually do. I believe thats why the Atlantis, The Wynn, and El Dorado give me almost the same offers even tho I dont gamble there but 5% of my time compared to like 90-95% of the time at CET casinos.

Not sure what the question Is here but remember that in Reno the CET "gambling day" is 5AM to 4:59 AM. If you play early morning you could be crossing a day. Also, for slots, I don't know if the increment is tracked. I am all over the place, from .01 to $10 and I think all they track is TC. I will ask my host if increment counts for anything.

New Orleans 7* retreat. Food, food, and more food . . . .
    Tentatively Tahoe or LV . . . .

Atlantis isn't a CET casino in Reno. Also I dont gamble too much in Reno anyways. I most likley gamble 75% Tahoe, 10% Indian Casinos near me, 10% Vegas, and like 5% Reno.

Also the "gambling day" is really only used for Teir credit bonus and the such right?

I'm just trying to figure out why my comps in regards to FP and Level of gift's from CET arent more. Like I said they arent horrible by any means, however in the last 6 months I've been playing at what I would assume is a much higher $ per bet and thus expected the FP and gifts to be much higher.

Example. I was getting like $115 twice per month FP in Tahoe, just recently it went to $200 twice per month. I understand that's an increase, but I expected more. By reading this forum and the posts it seems to me that would have to do with my ADT. I'm just trying to figure out if they only take into consideration you last 12 months, 18 months, 24 months, life time, etc. and then average that out to your ADT.

If that were the case and I wanted better comps could I cancel my TR card and start over again playing at the higher level I'm playing now, or and I'm assuming you can cancel it and start over and I'm jsut stuck with where I'm at and will slowly go up?

Offers from Vegas will be very different than local casino offers. They market them differently.

If you go to Harrah's or Harvey's Lake Tahoe and pick up a gift with no gambling action, your ADT will drop -- probably substantially. In fact, any swipe of a Total Rewards card will trigger a "trip." CET casinos use a composite ADT calculation based on your visits. Non-play will work once, maybe a couple of times but consistent non-play will drive your ADT down and evaporate your offers.

Atlantis has tracked your play for one visit. It was good. Based on what they "know", they want you to come back and play at that level again.

Every casino looks at your play and attempts to make an educated guess as to what you will play on the NEXT visit. The only information they have is what you give them, via play. Each place will calculate it a bit different, but in the end, it is just a calculation and guess.

Ok so I just got off the phone with my Vegas "host".....well I guess he's not a host, but more of a middle man. He said my ADT is $1150. So is $200 FP twice a month and $100 Dinning about right for that ADT?

He also said that when he takes into consideration comping stuff like rooms he also looks at (and I most likely have the wrong 3 letters) MVR. I forgot what that stood for but it was something like ADT. Do you know anything about that?

    Thanks all.
