So on saturday night the McNeese vs LSU game was canceled after only 5 minutes of play due to lightning. I had the dubious honor of being at the game as well. How does this cancellation effect win total bets on LSU? I think most books had LSU at about 8.5 for the o/u.

There are usually rules posted on the sheets or boards when you make the bet and it varies from casino to casino. If they have to play all 21 games for the bet to have action, it makes your ticket a push. I recall the same thing happening to me a few NBA seasons ago when I had the under on the Celtics. They were way under for the season, but their last game was cancelled because of the marathon bombing and my ticket became a push. I usually see baseball posted as 160 games played for there to be action. CFB, I don't know for sure, but I would be surprised if its less than 12 played for action
