If you want to redeem 4 rewards instead of 3, can you just make a purchase of $5 in chips or do they require a larger purchase? I'm trying to figure out the best way to game the system.

    At least...

MyVegas hold the formula to this close to the vest. What one person spends may be different that what another person spends.

I would say the safest bet would be to start buying $5-9 worth of chips once a day until you hit your magic number.

How are you informed that you're in the 4 reward club? (also, does it ever expire?)

When looking at a MGM Resort reward, click the next button. Under Purchase & Redemption Limitations it will say this:

A friend bought $5 one time and got the 4th reward. It's different for everyone and is said to be based on regularity of play, level, # of friends, etc. in the game. I have a hard time finding three rewards I want to use so I'll stay in the no-buy group.
