Hotel room: can you open the window YES or NO?

    Some of Harrah's rooms still have mini balconies that over look the pool. We really enjoyed having that for a breath of relatively fresh air. They are wide enough to stand on, but not wide enough for a chair.

    Harrah's has a few standard rooms that have balconies big enough to stand on, they overlook the carnival court (loud music at night) but the balcony is kind of nice.

    I stayed at Binions right before they closed.

    You could open the windows all the way and there was a little 3 foot ledge you could easily step out into if you wished, sort of like a diving board I suppose depending on your mental state. Also the window sill was low so if you had it opened you could fairly easily trip and fall out the window.

    Always thought that was odd.
