I know this topic has been thrown around before but would like to hear from people as to whether or not you buy your host a gift. If so what do you usually give him/her, and do they accept your gift?

Well Vegas I usually don't care to treat host as well as the one that is doing all the work for me is at my local base casino and usually does all the work..On that note trips to my family's cottage ,Fishing trips on Lake Michigan is enough for my Host here,,,He is a great guy:beer:

I think the "gift" to the host (which in my case is cash) makes it much easier to play at your leisure and not at a pace to "earn comps" and worrying about what the final computer tally will be. I give 50$ for a 4 night trip (upcoming) and porportionately for more time. This has always included room and board. Upcoming equates to 12$ a nite....and so far it has not been a problem on the next trip. I find it a steal as we eat steak and love to snack on desserts....and we are going to play at whatever level we bring with us anyway....

We will also bring coffee beans, wine, small locally obtained from our region type crap....it is all good.....it's what we do.....
