A casino host at the Silverton was arrested on 16 counts, 8 felony for computer fraud involving comps. It will be interesting to see if this makes it into the LVRJ or the Las Vegas Sun.

normally in situations like this it is very tight lipped about the real details if any so as to not tip others off how to do the same and even for "liability" reasons from "slandering" your pilfering employee

if you start discussing what they did and they drag you into court (yes people that steal from their employer and get caught and fired do these types of stupid things after all they are a thief) then in court what they did will be fully exposed and that tips off others how to try the same thing and more so how to avoid getting caught or caught as quickly

it is best to fire them and move on and try and close the holes the best you can as quickly and quietly as possible

It was a woman who had given a friend of a friend of mine who lives in Vegas and is a professional gambler thousands in comp dollars over the last 12 months. I don't know exactly what she did, but the charges against her are:

    1. Unlaw Felony Act Re Computers
    Counts: 8
    Bond: $80,000.00

    2. Petit Larceny
    Counts: 8
    Bond: $8,000.00
