I don't know why I keep going back to this place.

Today I put $20 in a quarter slot, and didn't will a damn thing until I got down to $2.50 won a dollar and finished out my play...terrible...

Proceeded to blow $100 on 2 different dollar slots with no luck.

Played $50 on a $5 slot (won $10 in the process)

All told I went through the $300 I brought with me with NO decent hits.

I've been going there every weekend for about the last month and a half. Everytime I take $300 and wind up with 0

The best luck I have had has been playing roulette, splitting the 0's and betting on black I have won some money doing that but the slots always get me.

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. -Albert Einstein (I am starting to wonder)

And the buffet, I haven't been in a few years, boy has this gone DOWNHILL. This was the last time I will be eating there...After taking a stroll around the place I really wanted to turn around and leave, nothing looked very good.

A couple years ago I went with my gf to try Jack Binions steakhouse. First stop was at my then favorite slot; diamonds of dublin $1 five line, $20 bucks in 3 spins and I win $500. Ate dinner, came back and play the same game next machine over and hit $250 on the second spin. I cashed out and went home a winner.
    Now I can't even hit a hundred...

I've really got to work on my slot play technique...

I should also mention, b/c I know someone will say I should switch to blackjack for better odds...

I did that for a while and had some good times/wins playing, but I got fed up with people snarking about whether or not I should have hit or stayed.

I didn't always follow basic strategy, apparently that really bothers some people. And I am not the kind of person to tell someone to buzz off, not usually anyway

In my opinion, the food at the buffet is consistently good.

However the atmosphere of the place reminds me of a high school cafeteria! The Ameristar buffet is far more enjoyable.

    Welcome to gambling.

The poker room is awesome though. Might hit them up Friday.
