Last time I was in Vegas, it was a long stay in 2011.

My friends and I like to have a "home" bar which is fun and good for meeting people. As we tend to come and go at different times.

Last time our "home" was the Heart Bar at PH, where we had a good time with the mix there.

We also drank at Wynn, Encore, Bond at Cosmo.

We did not really get around to the North Strip.

Which other good bars should I visit on the next trip in June ? and which are your favorites ?

Glad you are making a return visit!! It may be helpful to list where you are staying, a "good home bar" should be "close to home" after all!

If you're strictly talking casino bars, then your home bar should be wherever you are staying.

If not, then I have always loved Blondie's and try to make it a point to go there on every trip.

    Thanks for the reply guys.

Have not yet settled on where to stay, as the bar does play a big part.

Did also stay two weeks at Encore last time, and used the bars there and in the Wynn. Parasol up was ok, but the people were a little stuck up there.

So far, im open to options including Mirage, PH , Aria, MGM and Paris.

I will play poker at Rio, Caesars and Venetian. So Mirage would prob be best location. Although could easily get the monorail from MGM or walk from PH or Aria. And Rio is a cab fare.

Never sure what time the cards will finish, sometime early :( sometime late :) and always like a drink after.

The PH bar and hotel worked well last time, but the room was just ok and I was there for 4 weeks. But the bar made it worth it. As I met lots of nice people and a few nice ladies on the way. Not hookers.

Just want to make sure where I stay has a fun bar too which is also social.

Sounds like PH may be a real good fit, you may want to consider upgrading the room. I like the Mountain Resort rooms I believe they are called, decent upgrade and I like the Mountain view, especially for longer stays.

Ballys and Paris is also a decent choice, Ballys connected by indoor walkway to Paris, so gives you a straight shot by shuttle to Rio and also a short walk to Paris or PH. Ballys doesnt have any outstanding bars, but Skullys is a decent place to grab a drink and unwind. There are lots of options in close walking distance.
