I have been looking for ideas, and run across a couple, but I figured I'd ask again and frame the question from my angle: You have a rental car and the opportunity to take a road trip outside Vegas for a day. You've been to Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire and the Hoover Dam in the past, and aren't interested in returning. What's worth a day trip out of the city? I have looked for "ghost towns" as one idea, but have yet to find the definitive answer. And I'm not married to the idea that I need to find a ghost town, I'm just trying to figure out what next. It's one of those long trips with a rental car, so taking time to hit the road seems like a good idea next week. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
