I've stayed at all of the HGVC locations in Las Vegas...what would you like to know about the Strip location? (across from SLS, North of Circus Circus) It's a nice place.

These days they have a small bar location on the same floor as the front desk. They're also supposed to serve food at a location other than the deli; either the bar or out by the pool..Prices are pretty high for everything at the deli but you can also go next door to either a CVS or Walgreen's that has better prices on liquor, water, etc.

Are you familiar with how time shares are set up? The HGVC is a time share. You will have a fridge, a microwave, and maybe even an oven, depending on what size unit you have. The Strip location is pretty nice by HGVC standards and nicer then most mid level casinos. There is no casino. Circus Circus is close on the same side of the street, and SLS is across the street and down a little. It's not the best neighborhood. The pool is ok, but not up to par with better strip pools. Resteraunt hours are limited and the menu is limited. Most of the people cook for themselves or go exploring. They have bbqs by the pool for grilling. Rooms have a DVD player. You should check out the HGVC site for more info. Enjoy.

Awesome! Thank you for your help :) I'll probably be using taxis or the monorail to get around the strip. I have a king + a pullout queen suite but I plan on eating out more than cooking though because it's vacation:goofy: Since you said the pool isn't all that good for party, do you have any suggestions for good pools for the public of a group of people 21-30y.o.?

Yes, they have wifi at no charge (unless they charge for non-owners). They should write the wifi password on the paper holder for your key.

The 1-br and 2-br units have full kitchen and living room & dining area. Plus washer/dryer. The "studio" unit is the 2nd bedroom of the 2 bedroom; it has a mini-kitchen in it.

Does anyone know if the sandwich trick would work here or should I not even bother with it? I have a 1 bedroom suite with a king + pullout but want to upgrade to a 2 King + pullout

2 King need a 2-br unit, I doubt you can use a $20 trick to get it.

The Monorail is a hike from HGV but the bus (The Deuce) stops right in front of it.
