    Hey People

    Hope everyone is doing good.

Heading back to Vegas in September and we are staying at the Luxor. Whilst we are there we always hit up the Burger Bar inbetween Luxor and Mandalay Bay several times.

Love the burgers in there. Never ever left less than 100% happy with everything.

Has anyone else got any suggestions for really good places. I'm thinking more resteraunt style than fast food.

Cheers for your thoughts. Oh and on the strip if possible.

The Burger Brasserie at Paris is a pretty good one. http://www.parislasvegas.com/casinos/paris-las-vegas/restaurants-dining/plv-le-burger-brasserie-detail.html

StripBurger at The Fashion Show Mall is also praised
    quite a bit. http://www.yelp.com/biz/stripburger-las-vegas

We'll be hitting up Anthony's Gourmet Burgers and Brews at
the M Resort, this weekend. M is off the strip but quite a nice venue.
I'm looking forward to visiting, as they offer burger/beer pairings.
Husband's gonna love it, I'm sure.

Have a great time in September.

I found a place a couple trips ago that I absolutely LOVE for a quality burger. It's called Grind and it's on Tropicana out across from the airport. It's in a center called Club 36, that's somekind of timeshare joint I think and sits well back from the road. There's a couple other food places, an overpriced liquor store and an ABC store as well. Everything about Grind excudes quality and freshness. It's upscale, without being snooty.

I haven't been recently but I liked KGB Burger at Harrah's better than Burger Bar, BLT, Holsteins and Grind. I do like Stripburger.

Stack has a good burger. PJ Clarks at Caesars is supposed to be real tasty too.

Anthony's is top notch. Braised short rib burger. 'Nuff said.

This is just off strip but worth the trip.

The Elk burger at Fudruckers at The Orleans.
I suggest ditching the bun and wrapping it with one of their fresh pieces of lettuce.
Much better for tasting the burger.

Something different and it tastes great.

The fresh baked chocolate chip cookies at Fudruckers are the best I have ever eaten
This from a chocolate chip cookie connoisseur.

The other cookies are good too.

Carnevino for sure. Only at lunch at the "taverna" but made out of trimmings from their dry aged steaks. Served with pancetta, gorgonzola, and arugula--superb.

Burger Brasserie @ Paris is good, and I really like the ambiance there, but my new favorite is Holsteins @ Cosmopolitan.

Looking forward to trying Anthony's Gourmet Burgers in a few weeks.

It's not a burger joint, but Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill has a great burger at a good price. I felt it was much better than some of the so called high end burger places. They also have a Cuban Burger, also great.

    MESA BURGER
    Double Cheddar Cheese
Grilled Vidalia Onion + Horseradish Mustard
    served with Southwestern Fries

Here's a picture of the Burger...

You beat me to it... We've had a couple of trips where I have hit multiple "gourmet" burger places, and thus far the Mesa Burger is #1 in my book!! It's on our list again for our next trip.

I also liked the Kobe (style) Burger at Nobhill Tavern, but the Mesa Burger was hitting on all cylinders, and pulled out for the win!

HERE'S a good site for Vegas burger reviews! I have also enjoyed Holstein's (good, but over rated... their buffalo wings are KILLER though), BLT (a good solid burger - not star material), and Mon Ami Gabi (WAY over rated)!!

On the topic of gourmet burgers.... Bobby's Burger Palaces, which are so called gourmet burger joints, have been popping up at casinos in the northeast.

Their burgers are bad, bad, bad. Really bad. For shame Bobby Flay. I realize that Bobby didn't make my burger, and has only stepped in the joint once, but his name is on the front door, and he has higher standards.

BBP is a marketing victory, but the success ends there!

Holestein and Stripburger gets my vote. Both have IMO significantly better burgers and shakes then Burger bar.

Is there such a thing as a bad hamburger and fries?

Thinking about, they all basically taste the same.

    Just a thought.
