The discounts are just going to keep coming and coming for this thing.

I think the High Roller is a bit of a dud. They were clearly expecting it to be a bigger draw, and it's not.

I enjoyed it when I went. But it's a one time thing. I have no desire to ride it again. I got all the pictures I need during my one ride.

At least the free beer or whatnot makes it a tad more desirable.

The free drink and additional 20% off is a good deal, but Living Social is misrepresenting the actual value. Tickets direct from the High Roller website are currently $19.95 for day and $34.95 for night. I think $30 and $45 might have been the original prices on opening day.

I agree with the OP's assessment, though, that this is the best deal available other than a comp. It's just not as much of a discount as they're making it seem.

I went on the High Roller about two weeks ago on a beautiful Friday night about 9 pm. They state the max is 40 per pod but they were only putting 15 in every other pod. So, as you can see they are nowhere near capacity. It was a 35 minute ride and very enjoyable. I may do it again if offered as a diamond perk but don't think I would pay for it.

How is that a good deal? (I guess with the coupon) Isn't it $19.95 during the day and $34.95 at night? I guess if you want the free drink..

Yeah, there will never be 40 people in your pod. Mine had like 15 or 20 and it was plenty big. Though it was dumb because if I showed up 5 seconds later I would be alone.. not sure why they hoarded so many people in one pod.

I will say though, it's worth doing! Do it at night, or at sunset (just google when the Vegas sunset is and get on 15 minutes before)

It's a good deal because $28 < $34.95. Plus you get a free drink on top of that, and who doesn't like free drinks! (especially since you'll be in the thing for a half hour)

Also, I was able to get three friends to purchase using a referral link, so mine was free (well, kind of. I bought in two seperate purchases, one under my account, one under my girlfriends, and then got two randoms on another forum to buy.) So I got a $28 refund, thus, $28 for two rides and two drinks, sounds great to me as this was a MUST DO during this trip and was going to spend the $70 anyways

Garmy, it is a Diamond perk. You should be able to go to TR desk and get 2 free tickets just like the shows. Got it about 3 weeks ago.

I'll have to check out the BOGO Platinum deal. Knew about the shows, not about the High Roller.

Rode the high roller last Monday around 2pm, the place was so dead my wife and I got a pod all to ourselves, I believe we paid $21 apiece which seemed a bit high to me, It was pretty hot out that day so that could have been the reason for the lack of a crowd but if you ask me this isn't the draw they were hoping it would be, nice view and I'm sure it's a lot more beautiful at night but I've done it once and that's it for me,

So, uh, did you take advantage of that situation?
