Best wished to you and your intended. Get a nice room, since you'll be spending more time in it than most of us usually do. :)

Thanks to all for the kind words and welcomes. We are booked to stay at the Venetian I could only afford the basic luxury suite as we are staying for two weeks. But I'm going to try the $20 trick at check in and see what happens but I'm not banking on anything.

If anyone has any tips at all feel free to share.

    Thanks

    Stu

    Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!

In case you aren't aware, March can be a very busy time in Las Vegas with the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament. Room rates can be very high for opening weekend of the tourny. The 2014 tournament starts March 18, with the busiest days March 20-23. If your dates fall in this time frame booking your chosen hotel rooms earlier is wise.

Hi Kelly I didn't know about the NCAA tournament but luckily we are going march 4th - 13th.

I know NASCAR is in town while I'm there as I plan on going to it (Kyle Busch fan). But i don't know busy it will be.

Welcome to the board! Yes, NASCAR weekend is another very busy weekend in Vegas driving all the room rates up. It's been several years since I have stayed at Venetian, I'm sure the rooms are getting a little worn but it's an awesome room space wise. Either way, I'm sure you'll have a great time. Sounds like you have many things planned. Congrats on your upcoming nuptials and have an awesome time...but really, Kyle Busch... go Tony :haha:

Tony Stewart is very good too. I have no idea why I started following Kyle but I have done for about 4 seasons now.

That's ok, we all have our favorites. Just habit to give others a hard time about their favorite drivers. :poke:

Come to think of it, I don't really remember why I picked Tony, but after Rusty retired I had to choose someone. I do remember why I picked Rusty. It was because he had the hottest looking car on the track...the black Miller Genuine Draft car...I loved it.

Anyway, you'll love the race. I've been to 3 of them in Vegas and had a great time. Enjoy!
