hi,the question of total rewards credit

I read the TR's web and I have a TR's visa credit card.
Is the Tier credit = Reward credit?
If it use credit card to shopping $1 can get 1 reward credit,and 2,500 Tier Credits may +5,000 Tier Credits bonus:

That means I shopping $2500 can get 7500 tier credits?

How you earn Tier Credits

• $5 in entertainment spend (hotel, shopping, dining, etc.) = one Tier Credit
• $5 coin-in on reel slot machines = one Tier Credit
• $10 coin-in on Video Poker = one Tier Credit
• For table games and other game types you will earn Tier Credits based on your length of play, average bet and the type of game.
• For poker, you will earn Tier Credits based the type of game and how long you play.

So for shopping, you would need to spend $12,500 in one day to earn 2500 tier credits and trigger the 5000 TC bonus. Keep in mind, all the purchases must be made at a CET property. With the TR Visa, you earn reward credits on purchases everywhere, but you only earn TCs if the purchases are made at a CET property. So to answer your original question, TCs and RCs are NOT the same thing.
