    Trips to Las Vegas:
    Hi everyone!

Been lurking around for a while and decided to finally make an account :) Just recently turned 21 and went to Vegas June 23rd to 25th (I know so short!).

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone on this board! This board helped me find some awesome deals and great places to eat while I was in Vegas for my 21st birthday! I even got a little beginner's luck and won myself some decent $$ playing blackjack :D

I got the 5 nights/$200 deal at Bally's so I still have 3 more nights I needa use and I just wanna go back there right now! But I have to study for my MCATs so I'm stuck here :( Looking to stay at Bally's for 3 nights on the weekend and maybe 2 nights downtown during the weekday next time.

If anyone is interested here was my 21st birthday trip:

Left Friday at 4AM and drove down to Hollywood, CA (took 7 hours) where my friends and I walked around until 4PM. Went to pick up my roommate then we got dinner and drove to Barstow, CA and stayed at Days Inn for the night. My friend didn't want to drive to Vegas at night since she already drove all day and Days Inn was cheap and closest town to Vegas. Luckily we decided to stay too cause I-15 had some HEAVY traffic cause some oil rig truck got in an accident.

Anyway so we got some free continental breakfast at Days Inn, which was super nice since we're all poor college students haha. Left around 7AM and went to the Vegas Outlets at 10AM. Arrived at the strip around 2PM and got the Nathan Burton tickets for $10, which started at 4PM. The show was funny and entertaining but I've already seen most of the tricks on youtube/america's got talent. But for $10 it was entertaining and definitely worth it.

Checked into Bally's at 5:30pm and tried the $20 trick while mentioning it was my 21st birthday. The front desk guy was hilarious and really friendly; he upgraded us to a North room corner suite with a jacuzzi. Once we settled in, we drove to downtown and went to Fremont casino for their buffet (had the 2 for 1 deal). Watched the light show at 9PM then drove back to the strip. Got ready for the clubs and we hit Tao at the Venetian! Luckily we pregamed real hard before we left cause those drinks were not cheap haha! Didn't get back until 5AM.

Woke up at 9AM and went to Circus Circus to go to their adventuredome. I wasn't really feeling it since I was so hungover. Got a massive stomachache and couldn't really hold anything down. First time vegas newbie mistake right there but w/e I had a blast for my birthday! Anyway at night, we went and watched Mystere at Treasure Island and the show was awesome! We got some cheap tickets since we're students and I do have to admit, I started falling asleep cause I was soooo tired. After the show, we went to Kahuanaville to redeem our 6 drinks for $25 we got from travelzoo. Then headed back to Ballys around midnight. Woke up at 5AM and decided to gamble a bit before leaving at 11AM. Ended up winning $125 on blackjack but lost $50 on paigow cause I got sucked in by the dealer lol. She taught me how to play and I decided to give it a go and BAM lost $50 playing 4 hands...Still I didn't sweat it that much since I was still up $75!

Haha well I pretty much wrote a storybook right there.
