Hi everyone. I just joined and thought I'd post.

My wife and I are regulars in both AC and Vegas. We are Total Rewards platinum members and get to Vegas twice/three times a year and AC about once a month when not traveling to Nevada. We are both in our early 50s and retirement is close (3 years). We've recently bought a home in Lone Mountain and plan on moving out to LV permanently when we do retire. We are primarily .25 VP and $5 tables (UTH, BTH, Piagow, and Roulette). Bally's is our regular spot when we go to Vegas and Harrahs in AC, but I imagine we'll hook up with Coast casino's when we live out west. Our next trip is the 3rd week in April.

I live out east and the storm was bad but not nearly as bad as Nassau, Brooklyn and the Jersey shore. The south shore of LI suffered terrible flood damage, while the northern part of the Island suffered major wind damage with many 100 year old trees taking out anything they fell on. Long Beach was decimated as well as Coney Island. Thousands suffered total losses. I lost enough roof tiles to need a new roof, but it was 20 years old so it was going to need replacement soon, and had a branch come crashing thru my windshield while I was driving with my wife. Lucky no one was injured. It was the perfect storm hitting the most populated area of the country and total damages are estimated to be at least twice hurricane Katrina.
