I'm so excited, my mom and I have decided we will see MJ One. I grew up listening to MJ and was diappointed I'd never get to see his concert after his untimely passing. SO...Cirque is the next best thing.

Question about ticketing - can tickets be bought through the box office instead of Ticketmaster? As an MLife Pearl, they say that we get upgraded seating depending upon availability. So what does that mean? I know I won't get a discount but I'm wondering if we buy the mid-price tickets in the 200 section somewhere, will they give us better seats?

For our weekend, the shows are filling up (based on the seats TM shows left available) so we better act fast. Do I book these through MLife or TM?

Just adding - MLife desk told me that the availability on the MLife website would be different than the availability on TM. When you attempt to purchase tickets on the MLife website, it just brings you right to the purchase screen without giving you your seat location. What's up with that? How do I know what I'm buying? Strange.

Anyone ever use that method of booking before?

probably because it's too many questions in one post to follow. but I wouldn't put much faith in the "upgrade" especially for Pearl. it's a very popular show right now, so it's doubtful you'll get anything at all with that. but if you can save some TM fees by buying direct with Mlife, it's a better deal. can you do that? who would know better than the box office if you give them a call.

We just saw it and although we really didn't care for the show, I thought the best seats were front row 2nd level. Like most cirque shows, there is a fair amount going on so you can better see it all from back a ways.

The theatre isn't all that big so honestly if someone was on a budget, there really isn't a bad seat in the house.

Sorry, I had too many things going through my head at once there.

Have you ever purchased tickets through the MLife site? I'm just wondering how I know what seats I'm getting - it doesn't tell you before you enter your cc info.

The lady at casino marketing said that the MLife website inventory is "much better seating" than what you would get through TM because they are all VIP seats. Not sure how true that is.

I would guess that buying through Mlife is like going through a host. you don't know what seats you get until you pick up the tickets. I've never been disappointed from tickets I got from a host. I would guess what tickets you got from the Mlife site would depend on what tickets they had available. I wouldn't doubt they hold some of the better tickets from TM, so it will probably be a pretty good seat. but they're going to be assigned to you based on availability that day.

I called MLife again today and got a pretty helpful guy. He said the same thing almost. He said that MLife has a "block" of seats for each show and those tickets u get online come out of that block. Right now they only have the $119 category for one night of our visit (200 sections) 9 for the 7pm and 19 for the 930 show.
I called my mom and said we better act fast as the other nights were completely gone already.
He did say that the seats are assigned when u pick up the tickets.
