    Here is some background.

    Wife's first time in Vegas.

My previous trips have been on WSOP trips and didn't involve much tourism.

So I am looking for some ideas to fill in around the edges.

We are staying at the Flamingo in a Go room.

Any gambling could be replaced with an activity or show if people have good ideas.

Most Gambling line items will probably involve strip hopping and gambling.

I would plan dinner at Mon Ami Gabi at Paris for a sunset meal overlooking the Bellagio fountains. Your wife would love that.

Wed morning jump in your car and get on I-15 North and head up to Valley of Fire. I have mentioned it on here before, I liked it there better than Red Rock.

Have lunch one day at Pahrump Winery and take the free tour and do the free tasting. The restaurant (Symphony) is excellent, and very affordable for what you get. I believe it was $60 for 4 of us to eat and have a bottle of their wine. Can't beat that. The drive out to Pahrump is pretty cool up into the mountains.

Looks like a pretty good itinerary. The only thing I would add is hitting the $20.13 lunch special at Milo's.

In my opinion Red Rock is better for hiking, Valley of Fire is more desert, surreal, red. Both are great. If you go to Red Rock you can stop at Red Rock casino for lunch. I haven't been there for a while but never was disappointed for lunch.

I thought the Mirage buffet was nothing special. If you want to try some Asian noodles you can go to Noodles Asia at the Venetian across the boulevard.

If you and your wife like outlandish, dirty, politically incorrect humor then go to Absinthe. It's Cirque's evil twin. You can also check out Jubilee for an old school showgirl vibe.

Also, maybe go for a drink at one of the Bellagio bars like Petrossian. If you feel like walking go to Wynn and get a seat by the Lake of Dreams for a cocktail.

    Dear abrown,

Looks like a great trip is coming up for you!
    Here some of my suggestions:

    Monday
Lunch: The Cheesecake Factory at the Forum Shops at Caesars

    Tuesday
Lunch: Le Village Buffet at the Paris
Show/Activity: Explore Down Town incl Fremont Street Experience

    Wednesday
Morning: Walk up north the Strip and explore the over-the-top-high-end resorts Venetian, Palazzo and Wynn/Encore.
Show/Activity (after/before Jumping off the Strat): Sirens of Treasure Island

I hope you and your wife will have a great time!!

    no trip to a spa?

And I agree about a trip to Mon AMi Gabi. Eat outside. If not dinner, try a breakfast. Great way to start a day with people watching

I usually hit Mon Ami Gabi for a late lunch (3ish). This way you get lunch pricing, usually don't have to wait long for patio seating, and can catch the Bellagio fountain show when it starts up.

Surprise her with a limo at the airport. Presidential Limo -Have them hold up a unique sign and get her going from the minute she steps off the plane!
