    Trips to Las Vegas:

    Hello,

I'm Mike from Texas. I'll be traveling solo to Vegas this Friday to Sunday. First time going solo!! Excited and nervous at the same time (more excited).

I will be staying at Luxor . In the past I've stayed at PH, Caesars, and Mirage.

I like to watch games at the sports book, play 3 card poker , poker , blackjack and baccarat sometimes.

For food, I like buffets and am trying to decide if I should try the new Bach. Buffet at Caesars or wicked spoon . In the past I have tried the one at Paris and Bellagio . Love me some snow crabs and prime rib!

Any suggestions and tips for solo travelers ?

We'll this place has good info and looking forward to contributing here .

    Have a good one!
    Mike

Hi Mike - if you enjoy buffets....definitely get the Buffet of Buffets (just need a TR card with CET for the slightly reduced price) to have 3-4 meals. Can pay extra to include Caesars. Begin with a late dinner & can easily get 3 meals and snacks during the 24 hr period. The reviews I've read indicate it is definitely worth the price. Looking forward to trying it. Have a really great trip!!

    Welcome, Neighbor!

You've found an awesome online community with a wealth of knowledge of all things Las Vegas.

If you enjoy trying different types of tequila, TnT (Tacos and Tequila - at Luxor on the "entertainment level" - the floor above the casino) has a huge selection of tequilas. My favorite drink in the winter is their Spiced Apple made with Don Julio Anejo. The TnT bar is great for solo dining.

If Irish pubs are your thing, RiRa is located in the Mandalay Place Shops (between Luxor and Mandalay Bay).

    Enjoy your solo trip!
