    Hello Everybody.

Myself and my Wife are booked up for 7 nights in Vegas next October (so long to wait!). Neither of us have been before. We're staying at NYNY and are both very excited about the trip. We're mainly there for sights (hotels, Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, etc), but I will probably do a bit of gambling, mainly Blackjack or Slots.

I've read various threads on the board and there's some excellent stuff in here.

Any other tips would be hugely welcome.

    Welcome Bookmichael,
When you are closer to your departure date, put out a request for coupons on the board. People on this board are very generous.

Have to add that the "Outlander" series filmed in Scotland is the best series I have ever seen (watching the midseason finale right now) and we get to see how beautiful your country is. Scotsman Sam Heughan (plays Jamie) is magnificent as well!!!

Keep reading for the next year, that will help the time go faster. By the time your trip is here you will have a wealth of Vegas knowledge. Welcome to the board!

Thanks for the welcome, guys. Been reading this website every day since we booked the trip and I'm very excited.

I've got four trips next year apart from Vegas, including a week in Spain, the Grand National Horse Racing and Premier League Darts (not sure darts is big in the US?), but all I am looking forward to is Vegas.

Welcome to the board and I enjoy the darts myself and I have done a couple of Premier League Darts nights, I hope the time goes by quickly for you and before you know it you'll be in Vegas

Another Brit. Welcome. There are quite a few of us now. Check out the Brit Tips thread in the Misc section. Hope you have a great holiday. Definitely a very long time to wait though! Lots of planning beforehand.
