Hi Everyone! Just wanted to say hi, and thanks for all the valuable info. I've only been on a few days, and I've learned a ton! I've been to Las Vegas just once - a year ago for business. I didn't get to see too much, as I foolishly spent too much time at the conference, but I fell in love with it! Everyone told me Vegas was fun, but that I'd be ready to come home after three days. They were so wrong. So now I'm planning a combo 50th bday/20th anniversary trip for Sept. I'm so grateful I hadn't already booked - you all have saved me tons of $$ already! The tips here are invaluable - I know now I don't have to pay full price for anything, really. So I started with reading up on lodging/food options, but recently I've sucked into the trip reports and I'm fascinated with the gambling tales! Last time I just played slots, and not very selectively at that. A friend just taught me blackjack at a Hard Rock, and it was a blast! So I'm hoping to try that again, if I'm not too intimidated. Downtown sounds like it would be a good place to play for that. Anyway, thanks for all the tips, and hopefully I can reciprocate someday!
