    Hi all.

I'm from Manchester. England not New Hampshire.

I'm going to Vegas for the first time at Halloween this year. I have been told it's got to be seen to be believed, and that it's Disney for adults. We are staying at the Hard Rock for a week. I don't know if that's a good or bad choice.

I'm really looking forward to going, and getting a lot of great tips off the site.

    Cheers

Welcome to the board. Hard Rock is a trek to the strip but they may still have the free shuttle. Halloween is a great time to be there....lot's of costumes and events. Most of the fun that evening in downtown. Have a great time!!

Thanks. I'm sure we will do.

I've hired a Camaro convertible for the week as I've loved the original since I was a kid and the fifth gen is so reminiscent of it. Apart from Grand Canyon/Hoover Dam are there any other must-see things in driving distance.

Also I did want to go to BB Kings blues place but I have read it is now closed. Are there any other blues/jazz bars around that any one can recommend?

Thanks again for the welcome and the information.

Try the House of Blues at Manadaly Bay....its a kool place, they have a Gospel Sunday Brunch that is interesting...plus all the movie stuff from the Blues Bros...shirts, hats and such...

    Good luck with the Camaro.....
