Greetings! I've been reading this board for the last few years, figured it was time to actually register - so...Hello!

The wife and I have been to vegas a few times, and are planning a 15th anniversary trip next August (also happens to line up quite nicely with my 40th birthday). We'll be going out this time our 2 other couples - my brother and his wife as well as my sister and her husband....we can hardly wait!!

We're looking to spend 7 days (or so) and will be splitting time between gambling, shows, and relaxation (spa and pool).

    Cheers!

    Doodle.

    Hi Neighbour and welcome.
We are in Stoney Creek just over the bridge. This is the best place to get all the info you need to get the most out of your trip.

Are you flying from Toronto or Buffalo?

We are taking westjet from Toronto on the 20th for a week.

    Welcome Ex Neighbour!
We were from Oakville, but now make our home in New Jersey just outside of Philly. I strongly suggest flying out of Buffalo. Parking is at least $40 cheaper than Pearson, and airline taxes are a THIRD of what they are in TO. We also used to find great flight times from there as well. Good luck and enjoy this board. Sonja (owner) is the bomb, and it's the most friendly forum you will participate in. No question is too stupid, and no answer should be written in stone! :)

Hey Redzone - we're in Burlington - but used to work in Niagara...great to meet ya.

We usually fly out of Buffalo - the price is great, but I absolutely love the airport, parking, shuttle, etc.

Where are you staying for the week? Whenever we try to plan a trip it ALWAYS seems like there's just way too much to fit into our time there :)

Flying V - I can't agree more on how great the Board and Forums here are. I spend most Sunday mornings drinking coffee and catching up on Trip Reports - almost as good as walking down the strip in person.

We are at the Mirage. A We have rented a car and will be going to the mob museum, pinball museum, springs preserve, clark county museum and also check out all the light displays in the various hotels. A

I would like to try Buffalo one day but my son works for the airline and we get real cheap airfare. A

Anyway, keep reading the forum and before you know it you will be the go to guy for your friends wanting info on Vegas. A
