Hi everyone, I'll be in Las Vegas for a week starting next Saturday. This will be my fourth time visiting, with my pool team for APA pool league campionships, and can't wait to come back! I'm bring my girlfriend this year and she is a geology major here in Illinois. This brings me to my question. I would like to take her on one of the Grand Canyon tours, but don't know if I should book the excursion online ahead of time as suggested by the company's offering the trips, or wait till I get there and hopfully find a cheaper last minute deal? Any advise would be greatly appreciated! Thank you all.

There are all kinds of coupons for that to be found in Vegas, in the hotel magazine, in the little coupon booklet in the cabs, etc.

    Have fun!!

You might want to check out this Viator, they are a travel company and this will give you a idea of the prices and if you can't find anything better while you are in Vegas you can always book with them online.
    Here is their website:

I do not work for them or have any relationship, they are just recommend by the fivehundybymidnight podcast.

One other thing I would never buy a tour from those guys that stand on the strip, usually next to the porn slappers, selling Grand Canyon tours. The all look real shady!

If you can find the money, the helo trips are awesome. Only a half day vs the day long bus ride and you see so much more. Skip a few fancy dinners if you have to.
