looking to book helicopter strip tour,is it cheaper to book in uk or in vegas. thanks
Being a helicopter pilot myself, I can tell you best route to go is to call one of the local operators at North Las Vegas Airport. You can charter your own R44 with a pilot at about 400/Hour, which is almost the cheapest in the country.
A larger operator like maverick will charge you like 400 per person. However, the operate expensive turbine choppers that do go faster and father.
But for 400 bucks you can do a sunset flight into the canyons and down the strip as it gets dark. I do it all the time. Enjoy!
ANy recommendations who to call? I am looking online and don't know how to find it.
I think there are standard strip/Grand Canyon tours for the 120-250 range depending on how long the flight is. VEGAS.com then click tours and you will see a variety of them.
