I'm visiting Vegas in December and I'm looking for a place to swim while I'm there. I know that it will be freezing so I'm looking for heated or indoor pools. I swim to exercise so I need a lap swimming pool. Anyone knows which hotel offers this? I'll be staying at Mandalay Bay but I can go to any hotels that have this (as long as they allow me to use with reasonable prices). If this is not available on the strip, what are the options near the strip? UNLV? Thank you very much.

    lap pool

I don't know of anywhere to do laps on the strip in December, but the the Desert Breeze Aquatic Facility on Spring Mtn Road east of Durango lets you do laps for $3. They keep the indoor pool 80-82 degrees. Clark County runs this pool and others. You can see more at http://www.clarkcountynv.gov/Depts/parks/Services/Pages/Aquatics.aspx

Wallaby, I stayed at Excalibur a couple of years ago in January and they had the pool heated as well as open. People were swimming laps one morning when I was working out. However... regardless of how warm it's heated, it's still going to be cold getting out.

Mandalay keeps one pool open year-round and heats it.
