I read on some blog that In-n-Out Burger made a 20x20 at one time, but now the maximum is 4x4.

The Heart Attack Grill may not be your type of restaurant, but you gotta love whoever is doing PR for this joint, they seem to be getting a ton of free publicity, even if it means someone having a heart attack on premises.

yeah they used to make them as big as you wanted. i don't really know why they changed it. if somebody wants a 20x20 or a 100x100 and is willing to pay for it, why stop him?

    now there's a burger!

OK, I admit it: I'm a calorie counting, arithmetic nerd.

It may be "the world's most calorific burger,", but someone needs to do a reality check on their text before putting it out on the web. "195.95 calories per ounce"??? Really??? That's obviously false. To get a number that high, you'd have to serve a big block of lard between two hamburger buns, with nothing else.

It appears they took 9982 calories as the numerator, and for the denominator used what is presumably the weight of the meat (1.444kg), failing to include the bun, onion, tomato, etc. That grossly overstates the calories per ounce. My guess is that the real number is just over half of the published figure.

Why are they stopping there? Why not get a big metal garbage pail, drop 50 pounds of bacon in there, cover it with chocolate soft serve, then deep fry the garbage pail?

Are you sure about that? I presume they use half pound patties, so four of them would make 2lb of meat (roughly 900 grams). It looks like the other 500 grams is the rest of the dish.

Had lunch here recently, burgers are good, nothing spectacular but good. If you don't go crazy ordering the quadruple you'll be ok. Fun atmosphere.
