So I have my rewards and have even called in an redeemed 2 of them.

I was told that if I fill out the Mlife info on-line and call them back before my trip they will add the MLife number to my rewards and that it will be easier.

Is there any incentive for signing up for MLife in person, or should I just do it online?

You get nothing special for signing up for MLife in person or online - you might as well sign up online and get your number - then when you arrive in Vegas you can go to any MLife Player's club desk at any MGM property to pick up the physical card.

Make sure you get your Mlife number on your reservation...you get 25 TCs for every dollar you spend!

    Even on the dinners?

What does that translate into? As I say I am new to this system.

I got the $150 Steakhouse, the $75 Sporting House and the Buffet at Excal.

no, you don't get TCs on stuff that's comped. only on the actual dollars you spend.

They would not let me make reservations with my reward until I gave them my mlife number. I had to do it online so that I could book the beatles love show.

You only get TCs for stuff you pay for when checking out. So if you eat at a place and it isn't comped then charge it to your room and when you check out and pay you will get 25 TCs for each dollar.

TCs are only good to get to higher tier levels...and the benifits are small but the buffet line pass is nice and the taxi/limo line pass is great. You also get small ECs bonuses at different tiers

Actually, I was just in Vegas for 10 days and the tier credits posted daily - I did not have to waiit until the last day to see everything post that I had spent. MGM is very good with the comps etc because when I charged things to the room that were comped they were removed from the bill automtically without me having to ask (except for a charge for tickets to "O" which I had to call and remind them to remove).
