And by nightmare, I don't mean you've been long hauled, lost all your bankroll and your host won't return your calls. I mean have you ever had a nightmare about Las Vegas?

I've dreamt a few times now that I am in LV, and it's near the end of my trip. I realize that I've not gambled a dime, or really done anything but walk around. So I really want to hit the tables, but I start walking to get to one and the casino goes on and on and I never make it.

I've also had one where I am walking around and I realize that my flight is in less than an hour and I've not packed or checked in and I'm frantic to get back to my room. But again I walk and walk and never seem to get anywhere.

I guess my brain is trying to tell me the casinos are too big I guess.

I do actually. When I get there, I can't find any normal slot machines. All I can find are machines that pay out in candy bars and stuff like that. Awful dream :(

Oh, and of course, the one where my flight is leaving in like 3 hours, and I haven't packed anything yet. So not me :)

I had one where I drove 75 miles to the the airport to fly to Vegas, walk into the airport and realize I don't have my luggage (never even packed it!) and no bankroll! Then I woke up.

I had one where i got there, was in a casino, decided to walk the strip... and as i left the casino, i noticed the entire strip was pitch black. It was really odd.

    1) I meet the wrong girl and end up grounded into toppings for Secret Pizza at the Cosmo.

    2) Someone recommends a Smart and Winning Bet, and I'm the only VMBer who misses the boat.

I'm having the missed flight dream more often than I would like lately.

    I've had that exact dream.

I also have the dream where it's all about getting the room changed because there's something wrong with the first room and on and on and you never actually get to the casino.

I had one last night where I was cleaning out my savings because I kept chasing and couldn't hit a single hand. I woke up feeling like crap.

    Had one the other night.
Was in Vegas with a few others who don't gamble.
All I recall is thinking after 2 days I have yet to do any gambling and was thinking I would no longer get any offers.

Had a bad one a few days ago. I checked into my room and immediately crashed. I woke up three days later into a week long trip.

Mine are consistentaly about the same theme. It is past time to check out and go to the airport but I can't because (a) the person/people that came with me are MIA, (2) nothing is packed & the room truly looks like a tornado just blew thru it, (3) I am still gambling and have some odd thing that keeps preventing me from getting to my room in time to pack and depart, (4) I am lost and the streets/landmarks keep changing so that I can't find my way to my hotel. So it appears my nightmares all center around leaving LV.

I once drove to Tunica for a 3 day weekend and didn't realize until I got there that my luggage was still at home. Luckily, they had an outlet mall just down the road from Harrah's Tunica so I just bought enough clothes to get thru weekend. Even more fortunately, I did not leave my bankroll.

Just had one last night actually! Dreamt that my summer trip that we've been waiting almost 2 years for was spent staying at a trailer park instead of MGM, we never saw the strip (or any casino, for that matter) once, spent the entire trip with two people we'd never met going in and out of dollar stores looking for things to do and something to eat. We left having not gambled a dime, eaten at any of our favourite restaurants, gone to the MGM pool or shopped anywhere decent. A real nightmare!

I like the fact many people have the nightmare of not gambling, myself included. It's not like we're degenerates or anything..

LOL, I'm glad I'm not the only one that has this type of dream! Mine usually involves trying to check into the hotel and it takes forever and so I never make it to the casino, or somehow I don't have any bankroll to gamble so I just end up wandering around the casino upset at myself. NIGHTMARE!

My very first trip to Vegas back in 2010 was like this. Only got to play a few slots, mostly a lot of wandering around with my friends from casino to casino not gambling.... Maybe that's where the nightmare comes from.

I start to dream about Vegas within a month of my upcoming trip. Often I dream that I make it to the craps table except everything is a little off. Usually the chips are strangely shaped and have weird denominations---$12.50 for example. My most recent dream I was several thousand winner pretty quick but the pit boss wanted me to sort all my chips within a minute or else he wouldn't cash me out. There were tons of different sizes and shapes and when I couldn't do it in time he offered me like $.50 on the dollar and I had to take it. Same dream, I went to another casino where I placed the six and the eight. A six came up and they took my bet. I asked why and it was some special craps table where both a 6 and 7 end the roll. I asked why they let me bet the six and they didn't have an answer. Usually strange stuff like that.
