Apparently in the last few months they've opened a steak place in the rear area of the restaurant (curtained off). It's a lot more pricey than the regular restaurant ($25-35 for avg entrée w/o salad).
Anyone tried it? Worth going to?
We have comp we could use or we could just use it for the regular restaurant and get multiple meals (if they let you break it up).

The new joint is called The Back room I think. Don't know much about it but some friends just came back and they had a great meal in the Café. Not sure you can split the comp but I would guess yes. There is always the slot club or ask on line.

I've eaten at the Silver Spoon. I actually think they do a good job on Chinese food--and huge portion.
Was wondering if anyone could weigh in on the new steak place

It says the Backroom at the Sterling Spoon. Is it really a steakhouse or do they use the same room where I get my $2.99 deuces wild breakfast at the cafe at Sterling Spoon? Because if it is I can think of a 100 steakhouses with better ambiance. Don't get me wrong, for a 3 dollar breakfast it's tops but for $35 porterhouse....

I asked the casino host. She said they curtained off the back part of the restaurant. I'm not expecting top of the line ambiance but this would be comped so we could get one meal at the steak house or multiple meals at the regular restaurant. Not sure whether the food would be better of just a different and more expensive menu.
