    1. Does the shuttle pick up from the same spot as the city bus and if not where?
    2. Would we, as non-guests, likely have a problem/hassle riding this shuttle midweek. Specifically Wednesday October 28 or Thursday October 29?

This is the info I found http://www.themresort.com/blog/2011/05/need-a-ride/
The date from the website is 2011 so it might have changed. I would go to the pick-up spot and speak with the driver.

All the shuttles have the wording "hotel guests only". Guests get first priority, but do you think any casino is going to refuse a visiting customer? Just worded to give them the option of refusing drunks, homeless, riff raff looking for a ride, etc.

Exactly. That's why I'm trying to see if someone here has actually USED the shuttle as a non-guest.
