Has anyone with a reservation after the closing date gotten a call back yet? I called Bill's after seeing the thread here that they were closing next month. They gave me a number to call and leave a message for a call back within 24 hours. That was a couple of days ago and I still haven't heard anything. Were heading down for NASCAR week in March and thought we had everything set up. I'm sure that we'll be booked into another property, but was curious if anyone else had heard anything for sure. Thanks all!

I cannot help you on this, per se, but I assume they will book you at a comparable location. I was knocked out of the Golden Gate on Fremont St. for renovation, but they moved me to the Fitz (aka The D) in the same area. I cannot suspect they will leave you without a room.

you should get the situation straightened out at bill`s soon as the rates for the friday night of your week are already soaring in price.

I've been working on that today. I did at least have the person that answered at Bill's this afternoon assure me that we would have a room. Although she couldn't tell me where. She advised me to call back in an hour or so. The shift supervisor will be back from lunch at that time and will be able to give me more info.

Few friends of mine were booked for March Madness. They called the day the closing announcement was made and were told they were moved to Flamingo.

OK, so i got a return call tonight. They offered to put us up at the Flamingo in a Go deluxe room or a Deluxe room at Harrah's. But in the meantime I'd already booked a Luxury room at Paris. All three are going to cost the same. My wife wants to cancel the reservation Bill's and stay at Paris. What do you all recommend? I'm just happy that I have a room for NASCAR weekend
