Hi all...Can someone please explain to me the difference at Harrahs between a Premium room and a Superior strip view room? Which is better and is the superior strip view room really a strip view or an obstructed strip view?...Thank you for an explanation. The Harrahs and Caesars websites are very vague when it comes to room descriptions

Nothing really--potentially different towers, possibly different views. Some rooms have dark furniture, others light--I have yet to determine the difference!! Book the cheapest & be sure to ask for a room facing away from Carnival Court unless u want to listen to band until 3 am

I usually stay at Harrah's but recently moved to Bally's for the better video poker. Premium won't be a strip view. That is about the only known difference. Strip view room can be obstructed by window signage that is hard to see thru. I was upgraded to presidential suite or whatever they call it last time. It was one big room but lots of space.

I had a room near the Carnival Court. It didn't bother me. The lady who checked warned me before hand. I barely heard the music. Of course I was usually intoxicated or not in my room while they were open. I enjoyed the view because I overlooked the pool which was very close. Correct that statement, I enjoyed the view sometimes. Harrah's pool does not have the same cliental that other Vegas pools have.

All Harrah's rooms I have been in have been equivalent to a Holiday Inn. Nice and clean but nothing special. I enjoy the rooms.

Premium has an extra closet on the other end of the drawer/tv/closet set up along the wall. We did the "strip" view and it is not a strip view at all vs other hotels' strip views. Obstructed was the best description.

We stay there due to the location. Personally wouldn't pay extra for the upgrade from the standard. Only did those 2 because it was the same price as the standard when we booked. Best deal was the 1 time $25 charge for the pre stocked refrigerator which was restocked our entire trip upon request for 6 days.
