I just read on another site that they charge $20.00 for a lounge chair? I didn't call them early enough to get the pool area to confirm. It's my first time staying at Harrah's and usually stay at Bally's but couldn't get comp rooms there. I am a bit apprehensive after reading some reviews but free is free. Can anyone confirm the lounge charge please?

Can't imagine that. Pool at Harrahs is like an elaborate back yard rectangle...but hey, it's wet and it's Vegas! Perhaps the $20 is for non-hotel guests?

Last July if you wanted a fancy lounge chair, which was different from the plain pool chairs that are around the pool that are first come first serve, there was a charge.

What is a special lounger?? Something closer to the pool?! It's not like it's a pool like Bellagio. I'm still trying to figure out what you get with these resort fees.

Thank you for that helpful info. At least I will be prepared as to where to go. I am taking my parents and they chose July to go so I was thinking of a cabana for them but if it's not a crowded pool then maybe I can find a shaded area for them? I'm good with the old fashioned loungers, not that fussy.

above the pool and bar theres a whole area to lay out tons of room you will be fine, just go up the stairs , ps there is shade and misters there.

also i think u can actuly just crash in the empty cabanas up there no questions asked

Was there about 3 week ago.......no extra charges for a lounge chair....however, it's not a really big pool area unlike MGM so depending on what time you get there, there might not be any lounge chairs available....our only complaint was if that we didn't take any ID there, and even though we were guest at Harrah's we could NOT charge cocktails to our room which was unlike MGM pool area. But we understand where they were coming from.

Again, if you are use to a pool "complex" like MGM Grand don't expect that at Harrahs.......it's more like a olympic size pool in the middle of a large concrete area surrounding it.
