Planning a trip to Vegas October 25-30. Looking at staying at Harrahs because of the price. Have stayed there before and have no complaints. We usually stay at Ballys but the comp/price difference is substantial.

My questions are how does the construction affect the parking situation at Harrahs and what rooms should I avoid because of the construction noise? We will have a rental car because we like to day trip around Vegas. I would like to stay on the strip if parking/construction noise is not a major problem. My offers from the Rio are not as good as Harrahs but better than Ballys and the rest of the CET group except the Flamingo. Parking at the Rio is great, but I have never been a big fan of the casino but do like the rooms. We would much rather stay on the strip. The lack of Flamingo parking rules it out.

Any info you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

i dont think parking is an issue but the noise is hit or miss. you can always park at harrahs flamingo or quad and walk to your hotel .alot of people park ast quad instead of ceasars becuase it could be a long wait to get your car.

are u a diamond or better you will have better chance of no noise as you can request a quite room and you might actualy get it.otherwise its hit or miss and if i rember correctly cunstruction starts around 5.30 to 6 am.

if you a light sleeper dont stay there.

im putting my parants at paris becuase of all the cunstruction.

i have stayed at Flamingo ,harrahs and quad and had no problems with noise but i would say i was the exception rather than the norm.

ps just rember you are going around halloween which the consider a holiday in vegas becuase of all the people coming to party

i would hold something and keep checking as rates change daily.

The only thing that effected parking at Harrahs from the construction is that you cannot drive from flamingo Rd to Harrahs on Audrie St now. You have to go on Koval and turn at the light across from the Wynn employee parking garage. You can still get to Harrahs from the strip using the entrance that goes under Carnival Court, unless they have blocked it now for some reason.

As far as the construction noise, I would just ask the check-in person to keep you away from it as much as possible. It really isn't that bad at Harrahs.
