    Hello Everyone!!

Once again I am planning our yearly trip to Vegas and I am fully comped for the 4 days at Harrah's, their standard king room.

Circus Circus comes in with very good rates, and they claim their tower rooms have all been refurbished.

Bally's will comp us for one night, standard room.

Our tenative dates are oct. 8-11, leaving on the 12th.

Has anyone recently stayed at Harrah's or Circus Circus?

I have read good reviews about Bally's, but would like to stay somewhere new this time around.

As you have guessed, we are on a bit of a budget. LOL But, we still love Vegas.

Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it.

I've stayed at Harrah's 2 or 3 times and all have been decent.. It is in fact a 3-star property.. Never had a bad stay there. That's just my experience. I would not even consider CC, too far, too many kids and pretty trashy with the exception of their steak house. Bally's is probably not that much better if any than Harrah's. I will be staying at Bally's in June.

This is a no-brainer to me. You're comped four nights at Harrah's and you're on a budget. I'd choose Harrah's without even blinking. Have a great trip!

    TOTALLY agree.

If the 4 nights are COMPED at Harrahs, why would you pay to go somewhere else - especially Circus Circus?

    What are we missing here?

I've stayed at both Harrah's and Bally's, and I prefer the rooms and amenities at Harrah's. Just don't care for the atmosphere at Bally's. I've been to funerals with more energy.

Thanks WIBadgerbacker!!! Harrah's it is. Yes, it makes sense to stay and not have to pay anything for a room, I just wanted opinions and I really appreciate the input from everyone.

That is why I love this board.

Thanks again nostresshere:) Harrah's it is. I am glad everyone seems to like it. It is the one place we have never stayed and now we will.

Piling on for Harrahs. Circus Circus is my idea of punishment and no amount of refurbishment could improve the place.

Harrah's definitely. CC would never be an option. I would pick Harrah's over Bally's as well

Stayed at Harrahs on 3 nights comped last summer. Have no complaints at all and would stay there again.
