I have tried, other than calling them, finding out if this room has a fridge or mini bar.
It looks like a GO room to me but nicer. I can not find anything out about this room but it looks like the flamingo GO room with the frosted bathroom door.
Has anyone stayed in one recently?
    Thanks

havent stayed in a harrahs room in a while, been in both towers, dont think I ever had a minibar or refrigerator there...i do know that if you need one or roll-away bed ect. they will bring you one fairly quick and have never been charged for it..

I have this room reserved for September 2016. On my TR page where I made the reservation, the site confirms that the answer is yes on a fridge and also yes on a mini bar. Also blackout curtains and rainfall shower head, just FYI.

Thanks for the replies. My TR page also has both but I cant see them having both. Although I could be wrong. Other sites just have minibar. I do not remember seeing these rooms before on my TR until a few weeks ago so not sure if they are new. They do look very nice though.
I only go in Oct. so hoping bdautch will reply after his/her trip.
    Thanks

I just booked this room as well for my bday trip in june. I googled for hours trying to find any reviews on this room and couldn't come up with anything. The only thing it looks like is it was just remodled in 2015. I am interested in reviews as well.:drunk:

That's exactly what I was doing. The only pics of the bathroom that I could find were on Lasvegastourism. I am hoping someone does report back on this room.

It was on the TR site. I booked the king strip view but think they did have a suite also.

These south rooms seem to be under construction now. There is VERY loud jackhammering going from 8am on. You can hear it even if your room is some distance away or on another floor. The entire south corridor is closed off on certain floors.

If you have booked a Strip view on this wing, you will be directly over the Carnival Court, and should be on the 28th floor or higher if you want to get any sleep at all.

Hope they are done before Nov. with construction. I hate to change my room now and regret it later so will wait a few months, since I have many months until I go.

It looks like the Flamingo GO door. We did stay in one and it was fine for us.

Interesting they are going with the Tower that has the better rooms. This kinda leads me to believe, they are only doing a partial upgrade of room inventory. Wondering if it will be the same percentage of
what they are doing at PHo which comes out to around 7 to 9% of inventory.

For anyone who is wondering. Below is a photo of the Carnival South Tower Courtesy of Emporis Research.

I have booked a Mardi Gras High Roller view room on a comp. I looked and didn't see Carnaval South Tower available (either as a comp or as a pay).

I'll look again, but is it listed as Carnaval South Tower?

I was upgrade for free Feb 26-28 to the South executive suite.

    The room was very nice.
Everything looks new and very bright. Loved it.

and now I just planned another trip end of March and got it for free.
BUT I for sure will NOT pay 700$ a night for it.

You probably can get a much larger suite at any 5 stars hotels for $700...

Lucky you. I am a low roller so will probably never get a suite comped. We are going in Oct. for 7 nights, 5 of them comped and for the other 2 it is $130 plus fees each night. Not sure if we want to do that or switch hotels yet.
Thanks for the room update and glad you enjoyed the upgrade.
