The Hard Rock seems to have become very aggressive in promoting and building their business, in all facets (gaming included). Lots of remodeling going on around the property too. I've received more mail-offers in the past 6 months than I had in the previous 3+ years. Their new website seems to updated almost daily, whereas the old one would often have events on it that had passed weeks earlier. I still don't see the level of casino play that I would expect for a property that size, but it appears to be improving.

Hard Rock is one of the better kept secrets right now in my opinion. We are not high rollers at all and get treated very well there with comps.

I agree...........I earned like 11,000 points one month..........(2 dollars per point on VP)............and they gave me 75 dollars 4 times one month.........plus a mystery bonus of 50. So 350 dollars free play + concert tickets+ and 50 dollar food credit each week (200 total). That doesn't happen at most places for that amount of play.

    Played there for years

I have played at the HardRock for around eight years now regularly. In the last three years major changes have happened. They have been through two owner/management changes in that time and have undergone a great deal of renovations and room upgrades plus the new HRH Tower. In the past year, however, I have noticed that I am treated like I was when I first went there -- with great comps. Also, I hit once in a while on their $1 slots and it seems they have loosened them up a bit. They have, however, removed all of the high limit slot machines in their high limit area (not sure what is going on there). I do like gambling there. Try it!

Positive comments about the Hard Rock... ON THIS SITE??? Whoo- hooo... some others have noticed.

Article in today's LV Sun about a lawsuit filed on behalf of Jason Giambi and some other "celebrity" investors against the past and present Hard Rock ownership and management groups should be interesting to follow along. The article does kinda confirm the rumor I'd heard that Body English will re-open. Apparently, the investors in Vanity have a clause that prohibits the Hard Rock from opening a competing club... my guess is HRH will argue they're reopening an existing club, not opening a new one.

The investors also claim they've been bilked out of $$$ from Wasted Space, Johnnie Smalls, Rare 120 due to questionable accounting tactics.

Hard Rock with some decent and noticable property remodeling and improvements. I remain a fan!
