Just out of curiosity, what was overpowering with the tuna? Are we talking a wasabi/horseradish kick, or some sort of other taste issue?

So I'm writing this from the back of an ambulance! I read the first line and passed-out... paramedics were called!!! LOL

Actually, though I'm a frequent Hard Rock guest, I don't have a ton of experience at 35 Steaks & Martini's (Steakhouse). I'm going with some clients Friday night and gonna do that Tomahawk Chop thing I've seen... it's for two, but Ima give it a whirl.

The place seems to do a decent business when conference-types are in the hotel, but always seems slow if they have to depend on regular Hard Rock guests.

So my clients left town early due to the weather and I ended up ordering some food from 35 Steaks and taking it up to the room for my son and I. I didn't think they could wrap the Tomahawk steak to-go very well, so we ordered two-(2) of the bone-in filet-minons, crab legs and mac & cheese (came to $200+). We ate like KINGS... Jared at the bar was great at entertaining me for the 20 minute or so wait. Only about 20+ people in the place at 8 p.m. on Thursday. The three days straight of rain really put a damper on the town, but not our meal... very well done! LOVE their house steak sauce, though you have to pay extra for sides of it.

Note? How did u know it was me? I saw the blonde at the stand, but was actually too busy drooling over the brunette in the the tight black dress with the tattoo on her back. She works there, but you couldn't tell, she stood over in the corner by the bar pecking away on her smartphone the whole time. She sure looked great, but dang she wasn't doing anything!!! I would've LOVED to bought you a drink!!!

Ha! We flew back up here this morning... Thanks so much for the offer!!! The tattoo looks really cool, could only see the shoulders part, but yep... that sure describes it! What a knock-out she is!!!

It's very, very rare in my experience to have had such an extended constant drizzle/rain for several days with the total grey and low cloud ceiling. Felt like I was in Seattle! We went downtown earlier that evening, as I mistakenly thought the Fremont Canopy was solid and would be dry underneath... ha!... Nope!
