I got an offer for two nights and two tickets to the "Big Game Event" at the Hard Rock. Has anyone been to these before? Any thoughts on quality, etc.? I've never been to a Super Bowl event at any Vegas casino so don't even really know what to expect. Thanks!

I'm a frequent visitor to the Hard Rock and easily the property's chief "cheerleader" on this board. I have not been to a Super Bowl... oops, Big Game event there, but do recall last year there were more than a couple comments made about the poor set-up for the event inside The Joint. I believe that was in the middle of Motley Crue's residency and so there was a lot of quick set-up and tear-down of the TV's and seating prior to the concert. I got the feeling it (the game) was not well run at all... though the Crue concerts were incredible!

I've seen a continued and consistent effort of investment and management improvements over this past year and would hope that will apply here as well. I'll be there again next week and will ask around.

Awesome, thanks for the feedback. I have noticed you have a lot of info about the HRH so I will be sure to direct future questions your way.

I stayed at the HRH in Oct for a bachelor party and love the rooms but I think I am no longer in their target market. (Mostly because I'm grumpy and don't like loud noise.) But I guess I gave them enough action that I am getting pretty sweet offers that are making it hard to stay away.

Ha! The comp offers are generally for the Casino Tower... sometimes Paradise Tower. I like the french-doors in the Casino Tower rooms that allow fresh air... not much of a fan of the smallish bathrooms and the evil shower/tub combo. The Casino Tower is by far the noisiest of the 3 though... suggest ask for a room at the end of the hall and on the mountain-view side. That'll help with the hallway partiers and eleiminate the sounds from the pool and Vanity. They got a GREAT soundsystem in Vanity which is wonderful when you're in there... not so mu when you're trying to sleep at 3 a.m.
