I am not good at live trip reports, but two days into our trip I'll try to post a bit.

Our trip from IAH was uneventful, as was the limo (Bell) ride from McCarren with a stop at our favorite CVS (Swenson at Harmon). The limo driver was personable, she kept us laughing on the short trip from CVS to Four Seasons. There were two other couples checking in when we arrived, so no wait for check-in. I was starving, so we went to Burger Bar after the bags were delivered to our suite.

All room renovations are completed, and we were pleased with our suite (one bedroom, premier Strip view suite). I took many pics of the suite to post later (if I can figure out how to post pics from my iPad). My favorite feature is the in-mirror tv in the master bath.

Last night we had dinner at Charlie Palmer Steak, then up to the Foundation Room for their party. After that, it was back up to our room for (more) champagne and chocolate covered strawberries.

Does anybody know how to post pics from an iPad? Thanks!

Yesterday we played at Mandalay Bay. Hubby spent some time playing BJ and I played slots because I wasn't in the mood to sit at a table. Before dinner, I just went up and down on a number of different machines. Hubby had a decent run on craps (no details because I wasn't watching), and we decided to take a break and head up to the Foundation Room for drinks and dinner. Yummy!

After dinner we went back to the casino. I sat down at an original Wizard of Oz machine, put in a TITO for $60.76 and started to play. It started fairly well, with several small hits of $5.00 to $29,00. But the fun was just starting...soon I had a couple of flying monkey bonus rounds and Emerald City bonus rounds. Usually the Emerald City bonus round results in a few credits and then hitting the stopper, but last night I found three of the four characters (not Dorothy, that wench!) and added some credits for each of them. I had two "Big Wins" on that machine - $340.00 and $360.00. I went up as high as $725.66 and cashed out $601.91.

This is the most this Kansas girl has won on in one sitting at a slot machine :)

Nice Wins! I would literally die winning that much at a slot machine, I have the worst luck at them. Glad to see you did well. Course, doesn't that mean you have to buy the hubby dinner with your winnings! :D

How was Charlie Palmer's ? I'm thinking of going next week.

How about the rooms, have they been renovated yet?

All room renovations are complete. I took several pics of our suite - which I'll finish posting when we're back home on Saturday. I really like most elements of the room renovation.

We enjoyed our dinner at Charlie Palmer. The black truffle potato gratin was heavenly, the filet was divine (as usual), and the butterscotch creme brûlée was delish.
