I got my first hand pay today when I stopped by the Mardi Gras Casino to use the LVA slot matchplay coupon. I had no success and decided to give up when there were about $2.50 in credits left on my machine. I hit "cash out", and the machine locked up and said "please wait for slot attendant hand pay." Apparently none of their machines have TITO, so all payouts are done by hand. I always thought my first hand pay would be more exciting.

I assume this was a network error. Handpaying regularly would be very dumb and labor intensive. First time I heard the IGT Game King jackpot music it was at Lumiere Place in St. Louis for 50 cents. At least two people looked over at my machine until a slot attendant came to hand pay me. I told her to keep it.

I think not. Casino is very small and the lady at the bar does the handpays.

Hmm. Maybe this place is smaller than I thought. At some point, hand pays can be better. With 50 units (Internet search), yeah handpays make more sense.
