Just booked a flight for Halloween weekend. This is the only holiday I've never been in town for, has anyone experienced this before? Does the town go all out?

Have been to Vegas for the past 3 Halloweens. It is a good time to go. Plenty of sights the night before and the night of Halloween. we don't dress up, but get on a table or machine or grab a seat at a bar where there is a lot of foot traffic and enjoy the show.

I like seeing all the women dressed up in their "naughty _____" (fill in the blank with a character) costumes. One time I was walking behind this girl whose boyfriend had to hold her up because she was so wasted. The bottom of her skirt was higher than the bottom of her buttcheeks.

Well that clinches it then. I believe I've picked the right time to go back.

Count me in as one who attends Halloween in Las Vegas each year. My favorite place to be is Fremont Street - a wild place on any night but particularly over the top on Halloween.

The pumpkins were out early this year on Fremont when I last visited 1st week of August.

They weren't orange though, they were white. But they were big... huge actually. They had pasties on their little boobies and their "ass...ets" almost reached the ground. :evillaugh

The town may not go "all out", but, the people get a little crazier. Pretty cool parade downtown. You won't be sorry you booked this trip!
    Good luck. :beer::beer:

Also many of the clubs have costume contests with nice cash prizes up to $5k for first place. One visit I happened to be staying at Caesars midweek before Halloween and while playing at a table witnessed a parade of costumes going to Omnia for their contest. Besides the abundance of sexy costumes many professional, movie quality costumes were to be seen that were really impressive. Great people watching night. I am sure many will be held again this year.

I have been in Vegas for Halloween for the last couple of year and it is great, I visit Downtown and Fremont Street is completely packed and it's a great atmosphere with the stages going on as well.

This year I'm hoping to meet Stig. I looked and looked but didn't see a Stig shirt at TI.

Last year we had some folks we met that tried to go downtown from the strip on the bus. Evidently, with the parade there is a difference in bus service. They said the driver tried to drop them off someplace that was not Fremont street where they were not sure where they were and did not feel safe. They finally convinced him to bring them back down to the strip.

No, I don't know which bus (I've never used the LV bus system), but it might be something to ask the driver about if you are planning to use the bus to go from the strip to downtown.

And yes, between the strip or downtown you can see any and all naughty _________ costumes. Halloween is my favorite Vegas holiday.

You would think it would be all decked out, It's not. I went a few years ago thinking that every hotel would have something. It was acutually a let down. MC did have a cool display outside the pup, and the buffets had some nice pumpkins and fall color. Binion's had a cool decorated spot and some cool things outside. Other than that i didn't see much, and this was the week before. We didn't get out to any of the haunts, to far out but if you go on Halloween there should be more stuff to see. So if you go for the parade and to people watch you should have a great time.

My first trip back to Vegas (as an adult) was Halloween Weekend 2005. What a fun time
and yes, you do see all sorts!
including the 6'6 (was wearing Bright red Thigh high boots with at least 6in platforms ) , wearing a Bright orange hot pants suit, curly goldyblonde hair ......seen primping in the ladies room at The Bellagio, walkway from the Strip to the Casino......She had a bit of an adams apple, large hands and a strong gait , as she strolled toward the casino..... I was washing my hands next to her ...... I just stared!
about 2 mins later, a very elegant looking couple (older ) all dressed up ~ he in a Tux , she in a V-cut at the front , long floor length dress ... she was leaning into him , giggling, stepped on the hemline and a breast popped out, she popped it back in as if nothing happened and they continued their stagger , toward the strip
    Love to people watch!
