I saw him perform over 25 years ago; can't believe he's still going. His portrayal of Twain is perfect. The show is an American classic, not to be missed. Twain's wit and humor is timeless and Holbrook performs his character flawlessly.

When my eyes first caught his name in the Claire Voyant column, I thought there was yet another old one gone. I was amazed too. I see he is in New Hampshire and DC also. I can't make any of them. Putting his name in Utube will bring up some visual samples.

Me too - I saw him do this more decades ago than I care to admit. This is his 60th year (yes - sixtieth!) portraying Twain.

The life and times of Mark Twain are often celebrated and recalled up here in Northern Nevada in many ways... good to see Holbrook has kept this going to reach so many.

One of my favorite Twain quotes:

"In Paris they simply stared when I spoke to them in French; I never did suceed in making those idiots understand their language."
